Nanoporous Material

Nanoporous materials are porous materials with innumerable fine pores.
We are developing a nanoporous materials using dealloying by the metallic melt in collaboration with Tohoku University.
The molten metal dealloying method produces the target porous material by eluting a specific element from a multi-component alloy into the molten metal.As a characteristic of the manufacturing method, it has an open porous structure in which pores are continuously connected from the surface to the inside of the material.By immersing the alloy of Si and Mg in the molten Bi, Mg is eluted into the molten Bi to form a porous Si structure.

TPR holds the centrifugal casting technology of the cylinder liner for automobiles, especially the manufacture technology of circumference As-cast(Spiny:mushroom shape projection), and we developed new bonding component parts based on this technology.

As-cast Parts

Use the strong adhesion which is the feature of Spiny bonding component, insert the circumference of small diameter pipe parts with aluminum, we can make parts like bearing, center boss, bush, and so on.
