Health Control of Employees

To "visualize employee and organization risks" TPR promotes health checks and mental health countermeasures. These activities help health control through each individual employee objectively understanding their status. Also, so that employees can work energetically, we proactively engage in health support for employees' families, who are the basis of their lives.

Based on our "Safety k& Hygiene Policy" and targets, we aim to create a workplace that gives peace of mind to employees, families, the region and customers by working toward a workplace you can work in with peace of mind.

Safety & Hygiene Policy

By preventing all injuries and fires/explosions, and regular work environment measurements, we aim to make our environment one where we can work with peace of mind, a workplace that gives peace of mind to employees, families, the region and customers.

  1. Preventing work-related accidents
    We create a workplace that promotes prevention activities through hard & soft improvements, and where each individual employee follows the rules.
    In case of a work-related accident, we will provide disaster relief and immediate report, as well as cause identification / countermeasure / inspections to make it your issue, not someone else's.
  2. Enhanced structure for disaster prevention, fire prevention
    We make improvements in advance to prevent occurrence, and, in case of an occurrence, we create a workplace where everyone can react in the first instance.
  3. Enforce health control
    With heighted awareness of physical and mental health coming first, we realize a workplace environment that supports both work and life.
  4. Prevent work-related illnesses
    We realize a work environment where you can work with peace of mind, by measuring and improving the work environment.
  5. Workplace culture where you follow the rules
    We work to raise personal awareness of the importance of compliance, as a member of society, to follow the rules of society.

Safety & Hygiene Targets & Actions (FY2020~2023)

By preventing all injuries and fires/explosions, and regular work environment measurements, we aim to make our environment one where we can work with peace of mind, a workplace that gives peace of mind to employees, families, the region and customers.

(1) Prevent work-related accidents ⇒ Target: zero accident lost days, zero accidents without lost days

  • Safety patrols and improvements by a safety expert (communication improvement).
  • For workplace fears / difficulties in doing the work, fully improve hard & soft.
  • With everyone's participation, inspections for accident examples/near-misses as being your issues, not someone else's, and implementation of countermeasures.

(2) Enhanced structure for disaster prevention, fire prevention ⇒ Target: zero accidents (anything more than use of fire extinguisher), enhanced BCP efforts

  • Implement prevention/recurrence prevention activities for fires and explosions, in the factory and nearby.
  • Carry out planned training, expand the range of BCP through continuous improvement for concerns, and maintain a manual.

(3) Enforce health control ⇒ Target: 100% regular health checks, reduce long-hours working, promote use of paid leave

  • Individual notices and follow-up checks for regular health checks.
  • For overtime reduction, every department and section should make work efficiency efforts, and General Affairs Division will conduct a monthly review.
  • Each department and section to promote the annual leave plan, with a quarterly check and follow-up by General Affairs Division.

(4) Prevent work-related illnesses ⇒ Target: 100% special health checks, realize and maintain work environment #1 control zone

  • Continuing individual notices and follow-up checks for those who fall in the scope.
  • Work environment measurements based on code, and maintenance/improvement.

(5) Work culture of following the rules ⇒ Target: zero commuting accidents (accident involving injury or death)

  • Create a workplace culture of following the rules, and carry out education.
